My interest and expertise lies in mechanical design of products that range from small simple consumer items to larger solutions for industry.  I have worked on manufacturing the world's purest glass at Corning  

and the restoration of the gates on the IRS building in Washington, DC.

Items that fall into the category of sustainable living practices are particularly dear to my heart and my first preference will always be to help develop more of these products.                    

Quite often the work requires blue sky thinking to develop a technology that had not been around before such as this Hot Tap Device for dangerous fume exhaust ducts for Texas Instruments.  

A product is never finished until it has its package and marketing provided to give it the right presentation to the customer.  I have collaborated with and developed by myself, a number of unique packaging solutions using many materials such as corrugated die cuts, high density foam, foam in place, stretch wrap, bamboo panels and others.
